Misaligned strike?

    This is called a misaligned die strike right? .. just wondering.. and what's up with the C and weird deformed hole in the A? Surely die deterioration isn't going to make a whole bigger and deformed without showing some kind of DDD , right?

    I don't think that is a correct statement.
    your coin could be...

    Struck Through Debris / Grease,
    Debris Impacted Die,
    Late Stage Die,
    Die Deterioration Deformation,
    Pick one or two.

    Didnt know there was die deterioration deformation. But now that I think of it, it makes sense. Thanks

    My point is that you can call it just about anything you want.
    Most coins have something that makes them less than perfect.

    Looking unusual does not make it special if special means valuable.
    Coins ( and anything else) become valuable only when they are desirable by people. People have to know about things before they can desire them.
