IMG_9630.jpg IMG_9631.jpg Opinions on this dime? One side is a normal dime, the reverse is blank copper. The coins thickness isn't the same as a normal dime, it is thinner.
Your pictures didn't work. I'm assuming based on how you described it, that it has been ground down on the reverse and is just damaged.
It's almost impossible for only one side to be struck. Plus, you would have to be missing a clad layer. The combination of those two factors make it zero chance. Photos are important so the issue can be identified. It's almost always damage.
I was looking at the Peace dollar I bought and noticed that there may be doubling on the date. Is it my eyes, MD or DD? Thanks
