    SV1246_AE11_0x884g_12h.jpg A bit of a lag since the last post here so time to ping this thread with a fresh image posting. Many shown here are BIG Ptolemaic coins so it might be interesting to change the pace and post a very small one. Svoronos 1246, about 11mm, 0.88 grams. Obverse is pretty unusual as it's a thing (thunderbolt) rather than a person. These are fairly scarce as they obviously weren't valuable enough to be hoarded and when they're found they're typically in pretty bad shape. This one's pretty clear and sharp.
