  5. Soo, what your saying is that machine doubling meaning it's an error variety? Or because it's machine doubling it's not actual error?

    Correct in not an error. Just die wear and sloppy maintenance.

    Machine doubling. Not an error. But some variety use MD to help identify

    MD is so common no one cares that's it's Doubled.

    Doubled Dies aren't errors either - they are varieties. 1937-D 3-legged Buffalo nickel, 1942/1 and 1942/1-D Mercury dimes, 1955/1955 Lincoln cent. All varieties.
