I think that LIBERTY looks like the 003, but the TRUST looks like the 006. I would think that the die gouge on the rim by the D in GOD (006) would be apparent even though the photos are out of focus, but I suspect the die gouge in the C of CENT (003) would likewise be visible. Unfortunately, it looks like the R in TRUST took a hit so it's difficult to get a good sense for either with regard the lean. But the U in TRUST doesn't appear to lean as much on the OP's coin as would be the case for the 003. Just a smidgeon better focus is what I need here. But I don't think it's the 008; the spread is not that significant on the OP's coin.

It definitely is not 008. It is also not 006. It IS 003. I've found many of these over the years and am pretty familiar with the different dies.

I believe you. I did take a browse of Wexler's listings and see that there are a number of die stages on record (for the 003 especially). More than usual. I was thinking that the Stage D marker (scratch through the N in UNITED) might be showing.

In hand I'm sure you can see the details we cant. I couldn't identify any of the markers listed from your photos (the two best for me were the full obverse and reverse photos as they were the most in focus).

004 would be an incredible find. I think that someone found one in another forum a few years back. Lighting can strike!! Be ready!!
