Bonedigger this one is for you- 1827 Capped Bust O-124a ?

So Ben if you would chime in here or anyone else who has experiance with Bust halves-

Going thru my Overton & Peterson books the only Variety I keep comming up with is O-124a.
The problem is that I cant see the 2nd pale of gule 4 comming down past the shield. I also pictured the "T" so that you could see that it is not O-125.

So here's some pics- let me know what you think-

It sure looks like an O-124A; R-5, but I think it's an O-135; R-3. Check the (rev) first A in STATES. It's base is slightly higher that the first T and lower than the second T.

Late die states are known to be drawn to the edge with little of no milling visible.

Ahhhh. After going thru the book & checking that one I believe you are correct.
You stare at a piece too long & it seems that you lose site of what your really trying to find sometimes- Thanks
