Lots of 70's on the 2019 ERP Silver Eagles but....

Has anyone noticed they're a bit loose with the grade? I've looked at quite a few and observe distractions and flaws with the unaided eye, and my eyesight is poor. These coins imho are not 70's but were graded as such. Here's just one example pic. Screenshot_2020-01-10-20-02-24-1.png

Yikes, your eyes are worse than mine. Spot under the F in Of. And before anyone suggests it's on the capsule, I've also looked at several True Views that I'm certain the sellers won't use for obvious reasons

Make the file bigger.....'under the 'f' on of could be on the holder.

I give up. It's not on the holder. I'm observing spots, stains, and pin dots. Those coins would never get 70's in the past. Have you looked at any besides the one photo I posted that you dislike?

By one example you can not make the case that too many 70's have been given out. Post more examples and make the files large enough so that the community here can make a determination.

OK, so I'll go copy a shit ton of TrueViews and post them just for you, not.

I'd asked if anyone else had looked at them and observed issues that before would limit the grade.

If you are going to make accusations, then you are going to have to cite them or post examples. I can't take your opinion on word alone.

It's not an accusation, step 1 learn to read.
It's caled an observation. I asked if anyone else...that knows how to grade has made the same observation.

Then as an observation, make your point......post more examples.

I have to agree with Ken. Your title suggests that there are too many being graded 70. So, it is your responsibility to back up your implication.

I hear ya........The goobers smacked me soundly last year, and I'm still payin' it off. Almost thinkin' about selling the house, moving into the RV and touring the country, with nothing more to identify me than a post office box in Montana. Let the devil's tax a moving target.....

I would appreciate it if you would kindly post a few more photos of what you think are improperly graded RPSEA's. (There's probably plenty more of them). It's not that I'm lazy because I am always looking for coins on eBay, read posts on several coin forums, etc. I just have no interest in participating in the disaster caused by the US Mint's release of this coin. Reading a post about it is as far as I'll go. Thank you.

It appears that the mark is in the frosted fields of Casman's example. I remember a similar issue with Reverse Proofs being discussed previously. If I recall correctly, the TPGs do not consider these small breaks in the frosting to be an impairment because it is an issue with the laser etching they use to create the effect on the die. Thus the coin is 'as minted'. I'm not saying I agree or not as I don't play the 70 game. I'm just stating what I recall from previous discussions.
