Double Die I know just enough to be dangerous

Customer came in and paid their bill with this. Nothing too special, but best flipper I've caught in the wild. 20191226_144403.jpg

I have been collecting flippers for a while now. I can’t seem to find any good reference on values . Any thoughts ?

No set prices for flippers. Only face and whatever small premium a collector is willing to pay for it.

Personally and respectfully, flippers, trinary notes, 666 notes and others are interesting at best. I would not pay above face to own one, and in the case of the OP’s $10...it’s a spender in my universe. Collect what makes you happy and interests you.

Near mint condition would be required for any type of small premium.

I also find with all of my serial number collecting that I’ll hold onto anything I find interesting if it’s a dollar bill. I’ll even hold onto interesting $5 / $10 bills that aren’t really worth any premium as long as I think they’re cool for my collection. But $20 - $100 notes, as a basic rule a minimum of 15% profit then hold them to use on something that’s more to your liking. But that’s just one of my basic ways when I’m searching bills to help me not hold onto too much.
IMPORTANT INFO: I use this rule only if I have no bills due or loans to be repaid. I stick to collecting with the funds I know I can use. This makes collecting a very fulfilling and fun activity. Plus I feel very proud when I’m able to display what I collected by staying within my means. I mentioned this because it was one of the best pieces of advice I got about collecting. Good luck and God bless. Happy hunting.
