came across this gold coin in a bank roll

I came across this coin in roll of quarters I just want to know if I should open the roll or leave it like it is and sell the roll open the roll and sell the coin thanks for your help

It’s probably a Colorado gold piece copy. Clark Gruber and company. I doubt it’s real.

 

Yes I thought it was a replica token from what I could see.

Looks like an "unsearched" eBay roll that was found in a 200 year old safe.

 

I find a lot of different tokens metal detecting. Arcade tokens, car wash tokens, etc.
Most are slightly different sizes and weights, but many of them are similar to the size of a quarter. This looks like a $9.75 roll of quarters and 1 beat.

 

That's the new line which replaces the venerable "L@@K MOST GOLD FOUND!! L@@K" headers on bulk lots of uncleaned 4th century Roman coins.

When I buy rolls I want to look at the coins inside. It looks to me like you want to make a quick buck. Why did you buy the roll in the first place?

 

Don't feel bad, I got this in a half dollar roll last week, you did 2 times better.
