So I have the above mentioned nickel that I believe is a DDR but don't see any listings for this year make & model? I've tried to get pics that show the details but can't get my phone with the loupe rubber banded to it to focus in close enough. Yeah I know, if no pics it's fiction but I'm looking more for info on if there are MHR's on this one to explain what I'm seeing?

Oh great minds... does anyone have any resources to point me in the right direction? there is doubling on all of the crossbars and bottom serifs of USOA and a spread on CENTS and the last O of MONTICELLO. I don't want to send this in for attribution if it is worthless doubling. Both VV & Brian's have no listings or info on this coin.

    Thanks.

Do you have pictures of the front and rear in full size (w/o the loop) ?

We cannot check if it's worthless doubling without visually inspecting it.
But it sounds like die deterioration doubling to me. or maybe mechanical doubling. The analysis of both full faces helps one determine that.

Here are pics of both sides as well as one of the non hi-def of the area of interest. It's a well struck coin and I didn't see any obvious signs of DD or MD. Might just fork out the $15 to get it attributed since I don't have a camera set up to capture what the old eyes see.
