Yeah, I said it. World coins are where it's at. Variety and value. Fight me.

I think this Peru 2 Reales 1805 Lima Mint is a pretty interesting American coin. 0.8960 silver at 6.7668 g. At $14 US I am happy with the value I got.:D Polish_20200109_185203523.jpg

I'm glad world coins are less popular than American (where I live) so it's easier to find good deals. I do like US coins, but it's easy to run out of types in my price range. For world coins I never run out of finding stuff I have never seen before. And now that I'm getting into coins from the 1700s the US isn't much of an option.

Agreed, especially on the overpriced stuff. I love world coins immensely & some months buy more then I do ancients. So much variety, history & many are affordable.

There are some U.S. coins that I do gravitate too & that's the seated liberties & Half/Large Cents.

American coins are boring? Network TV is boring. McDonalds and Olive Garden are boring. Life itself is sometimes boring.

I think I'll go jump off a bridge........

Modern U.S., and world coins are boring: boxes of MS/PF70s; disappointment when you're coin grades 68/69. Yawn...

I prefer united states coins one i dont have to go buy them from a dealer to get coins that are 50 years old i can find them in circulation and every us coin or paper money is still redeemable for face value so theres no tellin what people will spend
