Chipped wing

Another daily die chip. Thought this one was pretty cool. Might be the biggest I've found so far. What's it worth? 5 bucks? Or nothing? .... also, does anyone know what causes the letters to do this?

Letters issue is a worn die effect. That's why you have a die chip.

Cool.. so are any die chips ever worth anything? Or die cracks (that aren't shatters)?

 

Also, aren't die chips, cracks, cuds, shatters, all those are all die breaks right? Just different varieties

 

The better word would be types of die breaks.

Granted, there are some people that collect these, but we try to encourage them to let others know that they are not really worth a premium. So, searching for them with the hope of making a profit from them is not a viable endeavor. ~ Chris
