    That's my newest aquisition.
I see a medium worn coin with original surfaces and no signs of cleaning, but honest wear.
    I assume VF20.
    What's your opinion?
Worth to be send in? (NGC?)

My opinion is that it has been cleaned, probably with a very fine, pasty abrasive.

Sorry. The surfaces are not original. It's too smooth for a coin with this much wear. We should be seeing many more tiny hits in the fields and on the devices.
It could just be the images. It's not hard to create this look with software.

My phone camera shoots pics that look like this. It looks too smooth, but I wonder if it looks like that in hand.
    I think it's a strong VF.

    Thanks guys,
    these pics are awful indeed.
    They create a washout look.
    I try better......

The photos make the coin look like it has been heavily 'thumbed'. I hope it looks more natural with better pictures.

    And forget getting it slabbed.
It's a common date (as all of those reduced size quarters are, 1931-1938).
And it is the only variety for that date (some of the other dates have expensive varieties).

Surfaces look off I agree. I don’t think it’s just the pics

I dunno, but I’d pay a bundle for an authentic 1931-1938 bust quarter. :p

You can get 1932-1938 bust quarters. They have Washington's bust though.
