Picked up a 1981 Proof Set today. I have a question about the Susan B Anthony. I'll post photos but I must take them through the holder. I'm not cracking them out at this time.
My question is regarding the type of mint mark. I can't decide if it is a type 1 or type 2. I'll accept others opinions.

Tough, but looks like a type 2, as you can see the terminal points of the S, seen as notches. The filled type, has no visible notches, it just appears as an oblong-oval. Notches are clearly visible here. But this is my opinion, check others as well.

I'd also guess type 2, but it's a difficult one (at least for me).

I'm thinking it's Type 1. The Type 2 is bulbous at both tips of the S.

To me it looks like a type 1.

Looks like type I. Type II is flatter on the serifs, rather than raised ridges.

IMO it didn't take but a split second to see it as Type I.

However, I'm color blind, have no night vision and presbyopic. ;)

I can understand that! I only have 20% of my vision in my right eye.
