A neighbor showed me this coin yesterday. The obverse is 180 degrees from reverse. I'm assuming it is in "Good" condition. Any thoughts as to current wholesale value? Is it worthwhile soaking in a non abrasive solution. DSC06168.jpeg DSC06167.jpeg

that one is in pretty rough shape. Environmental damage and pretty worn. Maybe vg details left. Wholesale value is maybe about $5 IMO

The obverse/reverse orientation of 180 degrees opposite, called Coin orientation/ alignment, is normal for U.S coinage (although yours might be slightly off 180 degrees). Other countries use a medal alignment where obverse and reverse are in the same orientation.

You would have to show better how it is oriented. Perhaps standing it in front of a mirror. I can't tell with just the 2 flat surface photos.
