sold for 95,000?!

 

I dont get it, he says it is a BIN at $600 yet it sells at $95,000

 

OUCH! I hope for someone's sake that the auction was on the square.

 

Good luck straightening all of this out. $95,000 is going to be fun to explain - but maybe it will be easier than $95. I take it j***i was not in on it.

 

Absolutely not. AJ, aka pennysniper, won it, but he won't pay and the seller does not have the coin. Look at the picture of the 09-S VDB at coinfacts.com.

 

FYI as soon as someone bids, the BIN price goes away. Just look at teh bidding history.

These CoinFacts pictures all have a similar look to them. Learn to recognise them and you can spot the fake auctions......then you can prevent someone from getting ripped off.

I was with Jack about the photo being a stock shot stolen from coinfacts, but not about him being the one who paid $95k for it.

I'm slowly getting the idea.

The Ebay coin community was wide awake on this one, I have received 3 emails warning me the coin I won was a stolen coin.....and NOT TO PAY !!!

 

Bid, not paid. There's a HUGE difference.

 

Wow, AJ, you're really sticking your neck out for the community. Its great to see that. As said above, hope you don't get trouble for it.

 

Looks like someone took the pictures out of the "coinfacts" mag. and posted them as the same item. Sneaky. You can see the rainbows on the right side are identical. Someone out there has a good eye.

You never did say. Was j***i in on this or not?

 

Looking at the sellers feedback I don't see Jack getting in too much hot water on this one.

Seller may find himself on the outside looking in though.
