this is a coin I have had for years, I am not for sure if it a mint coin or not, nice to see anyone Opinion
Nice, I wouldn't be able to venture a grade as the pics aren't really that good and it also has hairline scratches, definitely not mint. That said, Peace Dollars are plentiful so it wouldn't be worth having it graded IMHO. Keep it and welcome to CT!
Agree with @fretboard... it is a lovely coin worthy of preservation. Not worth the cost of submitting.
Only a few Peace dollars are worth grading. 1921, 1928, 1934DD, 1934-S and other dates in high mint state.
As for the 1935-S it would have to be Mint State 65 or higher, which are fancy auction house coins. If your coin has circulated, even in good condition it may only be worth $40-$90. Grading is expensive, why spend $30 more on a coin worth $50? You'll never recoup that money. Now if it is a $2000 coin, then yes it is worth it, to protect the coin and authenticate the coin and grade. This also creates a paper trail and provenance.
