Is this a 1944 D/S or not? Because I see something on the top of the Denver mintmark... look!

P.S: BTW this is my first time posting... so if I mess anything up... just tell me.

Welcome to the neighborhood @CoinHunter2019 !

It looks like the "D" took a little hit. Like the small hits on the date, this is to be expected for any coin that has been in circulation for 75 years. ~ Chris

I agree with Chris. When taking photo of possible RPM or OMM, you should orient the light straight line with the camera to try and illuminate the inside of the RPM. Any light from a side will cast shadows in the depressions and make it hard to see if another mm is there along with the dominant one. Jim

The D took a hit as Chris stated.

    Welcome to CT.
