It would have to have FS or it wouldn't grade 68.

They do label modern nickels as "FS" but it's a pointless designation,
since they reworked the dies. You can look at any modern circulated
nickel in your pocket and they all have full steps. So why mention it?

The whole point of Full Steps designation is because so very few of the older nickels have it, it is rare. Now, there are literally billions of nickels with full steps. Putting it on the label of a modern nickel is nonsense. You might just as well state on the label that the obverse has a full Jefferson head. MS 68 is practically flawless.
Your nickel isn't even MS and it's worth .05 cents so why mention it?

I asked because at the time I didnt know for sure that it was self explanatory, I figured it was but wasnt sure. And to me it's pretty self explanatory after what I read and seen. And I'm not sure how you get that I think this stuff is easy, but it's not. I dont have hardly ever have time in my day to read anything except what I do for work. I go thru my pocket change to collect error coins or unique coins every day and that takes up enough time as it is. I'm just learning here. Here is an example of a 43-D with 6FS

Compare it to your coin and you will see that both coins have full full distinct uninterrupted lines which equates to 6 full steps.

All my wartime (silver alloy) Jefferson's are Full Steps. I'm assuming that the silver alloy made the planchets a little more malleable which led to better strikes.
