Box of halves and a box of quarters. Got skunked again on the halves. Found a nice 1963D in the quarters. No W's. Did find 1 2019P and a lot of 2019D's. Box 4.jpg Box 4 quarters.jpg

I am done searching for the rest of the year. My last 16 yielded me 4-40%ers, 1-65, 1-66, 1-67, and 1-69. I pulled 1-87D and 1-16D. I searched 575 boxes this year, $287,500. I pulled from circulation 182 90%ers, and 758 40%ers. Total Face value searched since I started is, $1,632,145 in half dollars, that is 3,265,290 coins searched. This year I made approximately $3,154 is silver value as of today. Wishing you all the best in the new year. My goal is to break 2 million worth of half dollars searched, That will require extra boxes to order next year. Congrats on everyone's efforts this year, can't wait to hear the stats. Happy New Year to you all and Keep Stacking!

That's an awesome year Arby, congrats! I bet with 900+ coins you got some high grade ones with great toning. I think once I get 3 River Of No Return W quarters, and then have all the Ws, I might just do halves. My half dollar stats for '19 were 44-90%ers and 132-40%ers, 2-1982 P no FGs, 4-1974 D DDOs and around 25 S Proofs. Happy New Year!

2nd and 3rd box of quarters were a bit better:
    1999-P Delaware “Spitting Horse”
2008-P Arizona “Extra Cactus Leaf Over Initials
    1999-S Delaware Proof
    Lowell W

Final nickel roll hunt of 2019 produced a 1924-S buffalo. Very low mintage (1.5M). Unfortunately, it was slick, so I had to Nic-a-Date it to get a year. A happy 2020 to all!

It is fascinating to see that low mintage coins (albeit some are slick) are still floating around out there. That date/mm is one that is missing from my CRH Pickled Nickel set (found 35 of 46 between 1913 and 1928 where dates are commonly worn off) and my CRH Buffalo set. A terrific find! Happy New Year!!

Those rare years are definitely out there. Even a beat-up one, found in the wild, is a cool score. Happy 2020!

Found a 1916 cent and 5 dimes in 10 CWR. One dime was a 64 silver. That was kinda unexpected.

Last 2 boxes of cents for 2019 were pretty subpar. Only 12 wheats and a few canadians. I didn’t keep good tallies of my other searches besides cents this year. My new years resolution is to keep better records in 2020 :)

I still need the last 2 of the W's. Still got some guam W's if interested. Kinda gave up searching quarters. One guy wanted me to take pictures of the guams. Post them then have cointalk members grade them. Then decide. Damn. There only worth a few bucks. To deep for me. I bounced

Tried a new branch to dump in a rough part of town today. After putting $140 in halves in the coin counter the bag was full and I bought the full $1000 bag. I kind of doubted the machine's accuracy but the # of halves came out to exactly $1000. Here's what it had:

    78S & 90S proofs & 1 Bozo Kennedy, throwing all back
    1 - '67 40%er with a bugger on it - keeper
16 gold Kennedys - not sure what I'll do with these
Free bonus: 1 Mexican coin, 36 cents, a paper clip, keyring and 1 unknown suspicious item
