I bought a new metal detector from C.SCOPE..I needed a simple, light weight MD, and with higher frequency..I choose model CS1MX..And I was not wrong..These are findings from two days ago.. Medieval bronze and silver, Hadrian as, small commemorative roman bronze, Claudius II..And ritually "killed" celtic iron spearhead, 40 cm..
Makes me want to dust off & put batteries back into, my ancient Tesoro Golden Sabre. Great finds, g-man. J.T.
I have the same detector. Never had a problem with it. Not a lot of bells and whistles and makes you work a little harder but I dig every hit anyways. I never know if there's something under that tin can or pop top.
Looks like a nice detector and at the rate you dig up stuff you’ll make the money you spent on it back in no time!
SOMEDAY, many years in the future, someone is going to use a detector, to find and dig up YOUR metal detector! Those are a great find, @galba68 ! Great coins, but the Ritual Killed Spearhead is very cool. Would that be an Enemy’s “killed” spearhead?
@Galba You are oh so lucky to be able to go metal detecting. Every time I see one of your posts I almost get the feeling like when I used to go metal detecting. It is so much fun with the excitement when you pop something out of the ground. Hard to explain the excitemnet pulling a coin out of the ground that has been just sitting there for 2000 years !
