So I went to the local flea market looking for some silver bullion. I saw a new face, an older man with a small display of coins. I saw two 1993 SAE busines strikes in his case. I ask him: Me: How much would you like for a Silver Eagle? Him: $200 Me: You're joking...right? Him: (angry) No I'm not joking! Look here! (produces a copy of coin value type magazine) He pointed to the proof price and told me that there it was in black and white. Me: (now understanding) Ah! Yes! But you see, sir, that price is for a proof. You have a business strike, a regular Silver Eagle. See under here where it says $23? (and that's high) This is the coin that you have. I actually took him to a dealer's booth and showed him the difference. Poor old guy. He had a bunch of coins from somewhere and a magazine and he thought he was gonna make hundreds of dollars on business strike Silver Eagles.
