Wireless Security and Sign of the Times

    No, I don't sell security systems, either. I just learned of this second hand due to a personal friend's circumstances and thought I'd share.
    If you have a security system in your home (or business) please check with your provider to ensure you have a wireless backup in the event the phone lines are cut first. Otherwise, no alarm will ever signal if a break in occurs afterward. I always thought the phone line going down would signal - I was wrong. Just a word of caution.

    Thanks CoinGal, I did in fact make sure I had that when I had my system installed. I feel that I couldnt afford not to. If my phone lines would happen to be cut the security company I'm with will still be notified and police dispatched immediately.
