Just bought my first Canada Half Dollar "Variety"

    Is that a small crack between the "4" and "6"? It looks like it might extend into the loop of the "6". Is it possible that the "design" inside the "6" is actually a die break?

    My 2016 Charlton catalog values this 1946 coin at $80.00 Canadian = $61.17 United States dollars. Is that what you paid ?

    They called that a VF-20? Wow. Canadian standards must be quite a bit tougher than US - I'd have guessed EF-40 on that.

    just about. plus shipping from Canada. As far as grading these things, I need to practice first before embarrassing myself with a grade.
