So i've had these two pieces for quite some time, but i still have no clue what they are. I think the little one might be indian!Any help is appreciated!
First coin is a cash coin from Mysore, not ancient, but 18th century southern india. See Krause 1701-1800 under Mysore, India. It should be KM#167.
The second coin is of interest to me. Here's a better example from archives (not my coin): https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=1276755 Islands off Sicily, Cossura Bronze 50-40, 10.63 g. Bust of Isis r., wearing klaft; behind, Nike about to crown her. In field countermark REC. Rev. Symbol of Tanit within wreath. SNG Copenhagen 451. Calciati 6. Green patina and good very fine M&M Germany sale 21, 2007, 222.
Thank you very much for your help guys!I had no idea what these were, not to mention that i paid 10£ for both!
Fun pieces, keep looking as you never know what you will learn. Thanks for the post. I do collect the elephants of Mysore as well as ancients.
