See I can get low grade coins to. :) The 1893 replaced an AU58 coin. This had the darker red brown that I like. Next up (thumbnails) is an 1800/79 N-193 coin. A slightly overpriced variety I did not have, but got anyway. It also has a pin scratch X thru on the reverse. And last but not least is an 1856 N-14(thumbnails). On this coin no matter what I tried I could not get the right color on the photo. I would like grading comments on the 1856 - some very sub.

The IHC is a sharp coin, but the 1856 is almost flawless. (There's probably something I'm missing).

    Both high quality looking coins.

You are such a tease with that N-193 (S-193). :p

I've noticed that pretty much anything 1800 is pricey and I haven't been able to figure out why? But until my NC-6 sells, I ain't gonna complain! :D

    Ribbit :)

Ps: Love the other copper too! :thumb:

WOW - at least I got it right in the name of the pictures. :) My brain is numb from looking at coins today. Ain't it awful. That 1856 actually just came into the store today. I think they went a head and processed it just for me.

Now you have to attribute it and give us the skinny on it. :D I don't "dew" the little cents so I know next to nothing about them. However, my two books did come in today so now I'm loaded to the gill for Coronet & Braided Hair Cents. :D I cracked Bob's book and checked out the 1846 BHC N-10 and the drawings are awesome and show even more stuff that further proved your attribution of it.

    Ribbit :)

Ps: Don't forget to give us a close-up of that die crack. ;)

The 1856 is awesome!! The 1893 IHC cent is nice too!! Looks like no wear at all on the feathers. Thinking its slabbed?

Since it replaced an AU 58, Its has to be in the MS range. Thinking MS62-MS63 RB, however I'm not that good at the grade game.

Harry had the right color - RB and catbert had the right grade. :) So a 64RB.

With the darkness of the pics, I couldn't tell the color! Oh well, glad I got the grade right. Great looking coin - wish I owned it, Mark. You'd da man!
