    I only have a couple, as I do not focus much on the Empire after Augustus.

    First of all welcome - great reading your post. Commodus is certainly an interesting character and minted lots of intersting coins. You might be interested in a book called "The Day Commodus Killed a Rhino" by Jerry Toner. It has insight about the Roman games as well as Commodus.

    Here are two other ADLOCVTIO coins - Caligula and Nero , and a "platform coin " of Nero CONGIAGARIVM or bonus. Caligula paid off the Praetorians. This issue of his has no SC - perhaps he financed the payoff with these coins.

    Wow beautiful coins are these yours ? They are excellent quality. I can definitely see similarities between the Commodus issue and the Caligula one. I’ll have to have a look for the book , the title sums up Commodus perfectly with his antics in the arena !
