I agree with FF. Besides, we don’t have a CBH (Coin BAG Hunting) forum! Congrats on your finds and compliments on your tenacity @CTRollHunter !

    GH#75 Trying to get 8 hours of sleep in 4. . .

I went through all kinds of rolls. Nickel, Penny, Quarter, and Dime. I found nothing in the quarter or dime rolls except a few XF 1965 dimes, and a few state park quarters to fill in one of my books. I found 2 pre 1960 nickels, and I found quite a few nice pennies. There was a 1961 AU penny, a 1938 Canadian penny, a 1940 s penny, a few more Wheaties, including a 1916 penny.

'55 Canadian from a CWR, 43 D from BWR. Also got a dime in a BWR of nickels, haha.

Trying some different photos. It's difficult to accurately reflect what it looks
like in hand, with just a cheap digital camera.

I Like to hunt half dollar rolls and for a short period I was buying boxes that would yield Walkers, Franklins and 90% and 40% Kennedy’s. I was getting 6-10 90% and as many as 24 40% coins per box. The oldest was an ‘07 Barber half.

in addition there were proof coins, several gold plated and 8 no FG Kennedy’s.

didn’t last though. Just did a box and found 2 gold plated Kennedy’s and a Barbados coin.

Went to finish my box of quarters today and found not one but two 2019W's! :) My first ones that I have found! Only need to find the other three. These will go great with my Cool whip tub full of 2019D's. 20191225_112345.jpg 20191225_112411.jpg

Sounds like the boxes you were searching were near the bottom of a pallet from your coin courier. Likely from back when the majority of banks had coin counters in the lobby, so many collectible coins went unsearched by tellers and those of us who seek cwrs...The good old days!

Congrats on your first Ws, especially the RONR. I am still looking for that one. Meanwhile, over the holidays my 8 year old grandson and I are building a Dansco P&D ATB Quarter album from some keeper coins (mostly AU with some BU) the wife and I saved for this purpose. We are about 15% there. I’m showing him how to hold the coin by the edge with his bare hand and push it in with a white cotton glove. His name is Theo, short for Theodore. Guess who his favorite President is - Theodore Roosevelt, lol. Can’t wait until he finds the P&D Teddy Roosevelt Park quarters!

20-roll nickel hunt this morning produced an album-filler—a 1945-P war nickel.

Picked up 2 boxes of halves and 2 quarters today and asked the teller if she might have any new quarter rolls. She said not quarters but lots of 2019 D penny rolls. Picked up $5 but I've never searched pennys. Would you guys say these are worth looking for anything or getting more?

Did laundry while on vacation today. Got $10 in quarters for the machines. Searched the quarters, but nothing remarkable.

Picked up 2 boxes of quarters in Houston. Searched the first one - no Ws. :yack: Did find some nice Park quarters for Grandson to put in his Dansco, including a Philly San Antonio Missions (all I’ve seen are Denvers). Hoping the 2nd box has a River of No Return W, the only one I lack.
Also picked up a $240 partial box of Brinks halves - found 2 x 40%. Ordering some boxes in hopes for some out of town Christmas silver!

Made some bank runs today. Turned down a full box of re-wrapped halves after checking a few rolls for silver enders, looked too much like a CRH dump. There’s a LOT of competition here. In fact, the other day a man waiting in line behind me approached me with his Coin Dealer business card. We chatted for awhile. He told me he has 8 different bank accounts in the area and orders $10,000 in halves a week from his main bank!
Anyway, today I bought a box of quarters and ordered 7 boxes of halves that will hopefully get here before we leave. Nobody else had halves on hand except for a teller who said, “I only have one”. I asked if I could buy it and when she handed it over, she said, “It’s a 1945”. I smiled and thanked her! It’s a worn 1945-D, but I haven’t found a Walker in several months so I was happy. :D

Picked up the last boxes of 2019 today.
1 box had a Bender, the rest were heavily marked.
    Ended up with 9x90%ers (53D, 59D, 61), 64Px4, 64Dx2, 7x40%ers, 00S Proof, and an 08 Panama 50c.
The Bender box only had the Ben and a 64P Ken.
Still not bad when you end up with more 90%ers than 40%ers.
    Total of 4.29oz Ag

Given all those Benjamins I’d say you won way more than you lost, congratulations on an epic haul!
