    Often at Christmas time my mother would look at me and say,
    "You made me miss a Christmas dinner!" ;)

    I was born "in khaki diapers" on Governor's Island in New York City.
    Apparently my mother had a view of the Statue of Liberty out of the hospital window.

    I was born on Mothers’ Day and I’m pretty sure I was the only gift my mother ever received that she didn’t try to return and exchange. I’ve pictured her saying, “Can I see the same thing but in pink?”

    she was born December 23 and always said she was cheated since her birthday was always tied to Christmas.

    Happy birthday @kanga. Oddly, I married a lady whose birthday is December 25th. That was almost thirty years ago. She told me she doesn’t accept birthday gifts in Christmas wrapping paper or Christmas birthday cakes. Been a challenge staying ahead of that curve for thirty years!.... Happy Birthday!

    We have a family member whose b’day is 24 Dec. We make a point of gifting him every year specifically for his birthday as well as a Christmas gift. You shouldn’t get gypped because your birthdate is near a holiday.
