I've never had any interest in varieties, errors, patterns - stuff like that. Most of my books tend to be specialized with some very difficult to find and quite expensive. Others may only cost a few dollars but the info in them is priceless ;)

With the very kind contributions to my wifes coin collection ( animals on coins ) by some great forum members, we have created an .......ANIMAL !!
She now wants me to win a Krause book for her !!

    Hey AJ,
Somehow I didn't notice anything about your missus collecting animal coins.
Does she have a list of ones she is searching for? Or is it just random and find-what-you-can sort of collecting?

Well, She started finding them when I drug her to coin shows while just poking thru junk bins and it caught on. Random for sure, and any with wildlife, birds, fish, animals etc....

Now, she has about 40-50 coins I would guess, most from the friendly folks here. I have to come home with something for her every show, but she has graduated me to gold coins now....smart woman

Thanks everyone, I'm going to order a few books today. :)

That Breen guy is creepy! >_< Maybe it's a good thing that I can't afford his book.
