    Damaged Dime

Looks like the edge was hammered or spooned.

Hi I recheck the dime and I notice that not just by size that is smaller. Everything on the dime is smaller the head the date and all the words on the dime is smaller then the normal dime.. what does that suppose to mean?

A picture would help. It is not really possible for a genuine coin to be smaller and all the wording and devices to be smaller than normal. Unless it is a fake, then it must be some kind of optical illusion.

Can't see anything in the first picture except the weight displayed on the scale. The second picture is a little better and it shows a coin that has been spooned. It may also be corroded which would explain the lower weight.

Conder is spot on. Pictures are terrible, but what little I can see is just damage.
