???? 100 bill error with his eye on back of bill stamped EYE??? Not sure what to make of it??

If anyone can give me some input about this $100 note ,Of the "EYE" Written on the of the back of the bill,Then on the front of the bill , His eye is defective, Any input would be greatly appreciated, Still new at this, lol Thanks, Danielle S.

There appears to be a lot of wear on the note. I'm guessing that Franklin's eye is just circulation damage. There is no way of knowing how or when the word "EYE" was printed on the back.

Thank you Chris,I just found it odd on the back side I saw EYE,and when I looked his eye was damaged I guess lol,Happy holidays

 

"EYE" is a stamp that was added after printing. Who added it and why? Only the person who stamped it knows. Just damage.

EYE is a stamp that was added after the bill left the BEP. This is not an error but rather Damage. The bill is trashed so it's a spender.
