Really excited to tackle this tonight. I've never even had a 2019 uncirculated quarter roll and 1 of the 3 boxes I picked up today is all SAM! I don't see any W enders, all Ds, but hopefully some got mixed in. Any tips on how you guys proceed with new rolls would really be appreciated, I'm on about week 7 of box hunting.

With new rolls, it can be tedious to see the same coin over and over. Go slower than normal and have a good place to set the ones you want to save to avoid any marks or such happening to them. Maybe only do a couple rolls a day.

New rolls are a great place to practice your skills at grading MS60-68 (almost no chance you would get one higher, and 68 is pushing it, but could be). There are clear differences.

    All D's? I'm guessing you're near Denver.

Don't see many D's here on the east coast. Agree with @Kasia, go slow, take your time and the grades. You'll be looking at so many P's and D's, they'll start looking like W's after awhile! :hilarious:

Good luck and post your good finding here.

With the SAMs, look close at the Bell Tower and the Real at the top and bottom. Look for pre die breaks and chips in those areas. I found close to 60 in two bags of 100 quarters from the mint.

I would be really excited to get a solid date box of P's because I know Philly's track record for quality control. It's great you got a solid date box of D's though as it's less common to find errors from Denver, but with that many coins something is much more likely to be found (hopefully). Best of luck with them all and do take your time. Make sure and check back in with your findings if you would.

Thanks everyone! Going slowly, 2 rolls down and 80 Ds. Most I'd guess are 66 but I put a couple in flips that might be 67 PL. Islander, just 2 states east of Denver.

They don't add any value to the coins. Why save them?

Chris is right, they don't add any value, but they are fun to find.

Got one! Roll #11 after 410 Ds in a row. My first SAM W and nicest W yet.

Sorry for the poor quality phone pics, I'm good at dropping coins and wanted to get it into a flip before I fumbled it. :)

Thanks guys! I've hit a good stopping point of 25 rolls done, starting to hallucinate and see Ws that aren't there, you're right Islander! :D But I got 1 more!

    Total:
    998 - D
    2 - W

Total was 4 Ws in the box, I'd guess a 65, 66 and two that might have a pretty good shot at 67. Might send the two best in to get a grading lesson if I can find a few nice Guam or RONR Ws that I've been skunked on so far.

No significant errors from Denver, but possibly a few small die cracks that looked like a line drawn between and connecting the M and I in Missions. Overall my most fun box of any, ordered a few more boxes from the same bank for next week.
