I have just ran across this cent while searching and would like to get a few opinions. On the reverse between the columns there is something I cannot identity. At first I thought it was a machining error but I a puzzled since the marks on the coin are in the bays which are lower than the columns. A machine error would have marked the columns before the bays. All help is appreciated.
It looks like the marks are on the columns and not in the bays if I look at the upper 4 red arrows. I'm guessing Post Mint Damage (PMD). Are these marks raised or gouged?
Excellent pictures though! For future ref. when posting pictures of your coins, show the entire coin obv and rev then zoom in on the area in question. This will help others evaluate your coin.
