Not too sure about Canadian money, know that US Quarters from before 1965 are silver. I found a 1963 Canadian quarter at work today and was curious if it was silver. It did not seem to make a different noise when dropped on the counter, might just be the register counter though. Thanks!
80% silver. They changed some time during 1967, so some 67's are 80% and some are 50%. But yes, your 1963 is 80% silver.
Thanks, nice grab I suppose I almost gave it away as change. Also found 2 euro cents that I gave away, shoulda kept that, double the value of the us money haha
How the heck did euro cent make it over there. At work I pull all the euro coins i find in my cash register. I have a little pot on my bedroom with around 20 euros in change. I'm going to France and Spain in a few weeks and the change I aquired will get me a free meal or two. With that I also have a seperate pot full of US coinage I have lifted from the cash registers. This amount totals around $6 at the moment...It'll do for my us trip next year. If I ever find myself in poland or hungary I think I could buy a house with the ammount of their coins I find.
No idea. I havn't gotten a huge amount but they appear here and there. I just put them in a wrapper and they go in my foreign coin book.
got me a 1963, im currently saving up all the Canadian coins i can find in a pint jar, when its filled, im going to mail it to the prime minister of Canada with a note saying "keep the change"... :goofer:
