    Hey all, is this junk? Check out the 1987, spe ifically the 87, is this just machine doubling?

    Well it certainly is an error....Your title says 87D but your coin is a 97D....
    Beyond that, I don't see anything that would be worth more than face value.
    What do you think you see?

    I see OP has updated the question...To answer it, no not doubling. Check out die deterioration doubling. Also....it's still a 1997D...
