Ok 1985 and it looks like it could be damaged but my cuzzin says it's not damage after the scope what do you guys think?
Absolutely damaged. Once you learn and understand the minting and die making processes, it will be obvious that a coin like this couldn't have left mint looking like that
Some of these coins we see posted just make me wonder HOW in the heck they get in the state of damage their in. Either people have more time on their hands and come up with new and interesting ways to deface coins or it’s the luck of the draw. This nickel looks like a tiny Cookie Monster mistook it for a tiny cookie and repeatedly chomped on it lol. Reed.
