Joy...just a friendly suggestion. Download a program such as Gimp so you can crop your pictures properly. They present much better.
Good idea, but Gimp might be a little intimidating (I don't know since I have never used it) but PhotoScape is idiot simple (I use it), and both are free.
I use Gimp for the Auto White Balance check it has, but for cropping and combining I use Photoscape. It is way easier to use.
This is the only year you will find the designers initials on the reverse between the wheat ears. Very cool piece of history you have.
I've used Gimp for a long time and find it rather "clumsy" at times. I've never had Photoscape, but may have to check it out.
Very nice, Joy! Your coin has character. There definitely is something to be said about a piece that has been around the block a few times, instead of merely being coddled and babied by just a small handful of owners over it's long life. As I look at your cent, notable names spring forth as to who once had possession of it, if only for a short while........Marilyn Monroe.......Jack Benny.....both Curt Flood and Bob Gibson just days apart ..... John F. Kennedy and Lee Harvey Oswald both had it in their front right pockets just over 36 years apart.......Phyllis Diller.....Bob Barker......Kevin Spacey.....and Bernie Sanders' wife.
