Today at the local collectables shop The owner had a mixed box of twenty NGC and PCGS Slabbed Silver American eagles I also tacked on a 1992 S Ultra Cameo Kennedy Half PF-70 and an 1882 CC Morgan which I like the best. The slabbed coins came from somone who bought them on one of those QVC shows and has lost a quite a bit of cash because they are overpriced on QVC. I paid $800.00 Total and this is what I ended up with. 1 1992 S Kennedy PF 70 Ultra Cameo-PCGS 1 1882 CC carson city Morgan 2 NGC MS69 1987 American Eagles 1 NGC MS69 1988 American Eagle 1 NGC MS69 1989 American Eagle 3 NGC MS69 1993 American Eagles 4 NGC MS69 1999 American Eagles 2 NGC MS69 2003 American Eagles One each of 1990,1991,1992,1997,1998 and 1999 PCGS MS69 American Eagles One 2005 PCGS MS69 2005 First strike American Eagle. For a total of 22 coins. Good Deal or Bad Deal?
Yes there is, Carson City, I belive the mint is still there with some of the original equipment. wish the one I have was in better condition.
82 , 83 , & 84-CC Dollars in MS are plentiful & pretty cheap about $170 in MS-62 . rzage:smile:hatch::hammer:
Was thinking that myself, however the PCGS price for a perfect PF-70 Kennedy is $400.00 and the PCGS prices for MS69 American Eagles is $40-$50. I do understand that PCGS prices are best case scenario. Paid for the slabbs here.
at 200 best case like GD said, plus the 20 ASE's @$25 also like he said. those 21 items alone are around 700 plus you got the MHD and either way that has to be able too fetch more than $100 so i think you got a right on deal. not over paid but also not the best deal ever JMC
I agree, you got your money's worth, maybe a little better. That 82-CC is roughly a $130 coin, give or take depending on how you grade it. If you can get $30 for a couple of those ASE's, then you made out ok.
