Well, here's the big reveal: MS63 (graded by PCI)...same as the 1927 I posted previously but this is a far superior coin. Just goes to show that consistency is the real bugaboo of any grading service. I think the coin is an easy MS64...and it's on its way to a new home courtesy of Secret Santa!

 

Yeah I'd resubmit it as it looks a lot nicer than any 63 I've ever seen. 64 at least.

LOL...Thank you, Santa!! :-D I outed myself to my giftee, too!! I kept thinking that if I put Santa as sender, if the package got lost in the mail stream I might have to prove I am Santa before I could file a claim! And thankfully, I could NEVER pull off a good Santa imitation!

And, I thought I knew who my Santa was....but, I was wrong!

Interesting about the PCI MS 63 dollar ! And i just love it. Been looking at it a lot.

Is there anything else I should know about that 2009 cent? My eyes are giving me a problem today and already the light is fading.
