Has anyone seen anything like this?

    I’m a rookie collector and I need some help. I found this 1936 penny with some of Lettering only partially there and half of the 6 in the date is missing.

    I have never seen anything like this. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    looks like roller damage! when they close the end's of the coin roll some time's it hit's the coin's and damage's the coin this one looks bad sorry

    Maybe multiple counting machines have left their mark. Nice picture! How about a picture of the other side? Just for practice.
