Most of my CRH has been for pennies, dimes, nickels and quarters. I recently started unrolling half dollars, some success with silver and filling out my collection books. What I have noticed that is different about the halfs is the terrible condition of many of the coins. They are pock marked, almost eroded surfaces. Maybe 50% of all of the coins I have seen are in terrible condition, not like quarters or dimes at all, Why is this?
Sorry to bother....I’m totally new...how do I post a pic of something I think I must be crazy about....it’s worth you all’s time....promise???
Could be environmental conditions. Perhaps they were fished out of water, or buried, or exposed to something. Who knows? Grab the silver and get rid of the rest
Welcome to Coin Talk. You should start your own thread on the coin chat forum. What you did is called "highjacking", because it has nothing to do with the OP's question. Since you're new, the mistake is understandable so no one is going to get on you for doing it. Go to the top of the page and click on Forums, open coin chat and on the lower right of the page click on start a new post. Fill in the question. Under the box for tabs, you'll see upload a file, after you upload the photos, click on full size. below that click on start new thread. Enjoy our hobby.
