Pretty sure I've got a 1944 D over s coin near mint state just curious if I could get anybody's opinion on it I also have about four other 1944 D near mint State coins that I think 1 or two of them are a double die

I think I can guess but is it a coin or a car?

I don't, but some folks here might like to see pictures.

    BTW: Welcome to the forum.

What kind of coin? Penny, nickel, dime, quarter, half dollar?
Photos are important and easy to upload.

Welcome to CT but we need photos of both sides to understand what you are talking about.

Your close-up appears to be digitally enhanced, and the problem with this is that the image becomes more and more pixilated. So, you begin to see things that aren't really there, as in pareidolia.

With a D over S you will clearly see the S underneath. So it's not that.
I don't see any kind of pronounced doubling.
When you look at a coin through a microscope you are going to see
all kinds of things. Coins are not perfect and they are minted very quickly.
That is going to create some imperfections, but not errors.
As for mint state, upright birds eye view photos might be more helpful.

No need to apologize as these things occur frequently. The longer you're around CT the more you use the program and the more you'll learn. :)
