Thanks for the post .... great reading and a must for those interested in both the historical and research merits. I'm very disappointed that, although I token bid on a few pieces, I was unable to truly go after a couple of pieces I really wanted because of other more pressing cash commitments. As with most anything ... timing is everything!!
Part 2 of the reading is quite interesting. The Brazilian 1810 silver 960 reis is actually overstruck, not a die break as reported.
