    That sounds about right. ;)

It looks like my guestbook got hacked, so I just got rid of it.

My favorite parts of my collection is my John Young photo and my STS-107 crew photo...you can find them here. Both are authentic and were obtained for free through the mail. The STS-107 crew was killed on February 1, 2003 when the Space Shuttle Columbia was lost.

The very first item ever sold on eBay was a broken laser pointer that was sold to a collector of broken laser pointers.
My girl friend collects anything to do with saxophones
I have a collection of movie ticket studs from just about every movie i've gone to the theaters to see
My grandpa has a really big collection of beer steins.

Movie ticket studs as in the part they hand back to you after they take your ticket and tear that one part off.

Personally I collect Hotwheels and Coins/Paper Money.
As well as gemstones/minerals. I also have a collection of seashells from when I lived in Florida.

But as for things I've heard, I did a project when I was a senior in high school all about collecting.
So I asked people on various forums and such for what they collected:
    old bottles, dolls, rocks, etc.
however, one strange one came from a Science Forum (as I do love science) - and the guy essentially collected chemicals - that one I found pretty interesting.

I've got the same old standard collections from childhood like comics, spots cards, arrowheads but since I've gotten older my taste has changed.

Coins are a given. I also have a sizable gun collection and small guitar collection. I have a few secrets also.

I love old VW's and anything associated with them. I actually purchased over 100 cars at one time out of a junkyard back in the early 90's and they were all old, aircooled VW's that were headed to the crusher. I have a huge collection of VW memorbilia, VW titles, tag frames, magazine ad's and a ton of old pictures that have VW's in them.

I have a collection of locks and keys from all over the world. My goal is to have something from every country and no, they are not all made the same.

My uber-secret collection is my true pride and joy that nobody understands be me. I have about 70 exterior automobile door handles from luxury/high end cars from as far back as the 50's.

    Yeah, I'm a freak.

A cpl of my most prized items, combining my Detroit non sports with my Reagan collection. The sculpture is really cool, Reagan ran against a peanut farmer if you can remember '80, and the other is an ABC Presskit, both from the Detroit 1980 GOP convention.

    Oh my gosh Snaz!
Never thought I would actually see such a collection.
Bet you could sell it on ebay for a hefty profit.
