My gradings been getting better , your guess the grade games help , thanks . Thats why I bought that 64 SLQ , to me it looks better than a lot of 65s at less than 1/2 the cost . rzage
Because it's no big deal to buy and crack out the ANACS coins and reslab them in NGC holders. Why do you suppose CAC needed $25 million in seed money? (Hint: To buy coins for stickering.)
maybe so but as far as indian coins are concerned there is only one person who knows more than me and i know almost all the people who have submitted anything worth its salt to the top 4 TPG's
You apparently also need to learn some humility. I humbly submit that your knowledge of Indian coinage, or any other world coinage, could not hold a candle to that of Ken Krah - who authenticates and grades world coinage for NGC.
I apparently need to learn a lot but perhaps you need to look at the statement i made above if he was the guy who was responsible for slabbing those fakes into the NGC slabs then my knowledge as a matter of fact any serious collector of indian coins will know more than him as all of them are aware of those goofups. We believe what we want to believe GD and if your mind is already made up then there is nothing more i can say or will say on this matter. Peace.
Grading is mostly opinion. The standards set forth for numismatic perfection by grading companies obviously differ. As for the other grades discussed here between NGC and PCGS, it is only a matter of time before technology is going to catch up to the grading process and coins will be graded by lidar and image technology. I look forward to that day.
