:mouth: LOL! I laughed until I realized how pathetic it was.

I love how it says condition, Uncirculated. Method of manufacture, Proof.

At 2500, the reserve was not met and he had the gull to charge 4.95 shipping. LOL!

Please, somebody write him and ask if the price is negotiable.

    Everyone is laughing, but--
if it is a proof, which I doubt, that price was a steal!

Per the Red Book, only 3,555 minted as No S proof cents in 1990.

    and a value of $7,000.

So, it COULD have been an honest mistake.

    (or not.)

Unbelievable - I wonder how many people emailed the seller to tell him he had an uncirculated Philly?

The seller even put "Philadelphia" as the mint instead of "San Francisco"... ha ha

Yeah, you have a point. Though the pictures are fairly poor for someone trying to sell something that expensive.

    He may not know this:
Major changes were made in Mint mark policy beginning in 1979. Anthony dollars struck at the Philadelphia Mint were given a P Mint mark. The list of coins to bear the "P" Mint mark grew in 1980, when all other Philadelphia denominations but the 1-cent coin received the new Mint mark.
