1972 duble clipped planchet ?

I was told the other day to put this coin in error coin's but I had forgotten till I posted the rpm's well this is it

Looks to be a double clipped planchet.

Very nice find. Also a worn die and potentially a DDO - look at the ‘I’ in ‘IN GOD...’. And counter wheel damage in the hair. A lot going on here.

 

All that is seen is due to the worn die. Not DDO

 

yeah...that doesn't look like it was done with a Dremel tool! LOL

 

I collect JFK Halves and I find your coin a very nice error. I've been collecting for over 45 years and have never come across a find like yours VERY NICE!!!!!

 

Struck by a worn die which is fine given the not 1 but 2 clips. An excellent example of a double clipped coin. Congrats on that find!
