I never seen one like that. get a silver ring today and I can't find it I've been looking for it for 2 hours hopefully I can send some pics but heck of a nice hunt man.
The very small heart I think is trash but GF wants to have it tested. As for the George Bush, 12.6 grams, just smaller than a half dollar. IDK if it is like one of those Trump coins made by private companies, or if it is part of some kind of Pres coin set. As for the hoard I was locked out of one place that had been continuously open for years so I was not happy about that. I did hit 6000 quarters. Anxious to see the ring.
im guessing the locked up schools must be nation wide. im in California and all the schools are locked up. its the death of our hobby and local clubs. most of our members dig schools or used to.
The 5 gold rings are in the upper right. And everything else is silver. Even though some of the silver looks gold, and one of the gold is not gold colored.
Sometimes I will get tired from digging so many holes. But as long as the targets are there, the only thing I skip are the zinc pennies. I check to see if they are near the surface, if they are not, and there's plenty of good targets, I don't bother with them because I can always get them when I go back if things are slow. It was nice to hit some milestones recently. 100 dollar coins 6000 quarters 4500 dimes 2400 nickels
It was a steady drizzle, but I put a clear plastic produce bag over the part I didn't want to get wet (the box, the works) and out into the gloom stepped our intrepid hero. This used to be an excellent spot in the rotation, but now over half my spots, and several really great spots are locked up. One spot which is usually OK, I was just not getting anything at all, and then on the way out I hit the half dollar. The last spot was very good, a nice spill, and then at the end I got the 2017-D Native America Dollar Sequoyah. Only 1.5 million minted, and not intended for circulation. So that was awesome.
Does anybody know what the numbers mean on old beer bottles? found 2 this weekend in the woods and they aren't broken. They have the Anchor Hocking symbol on the bottom.
I don't have then right now, but I did manage to find when they were made ;m just trying to find what the numbers on the bottom mean. And so far I haven't found any that have the anchor hocking symbol on the bottom.
It's called a Handy Bottle but it isn't the royal ruby I don't think because it doesn't say it on the bottom.
Silver ring in one of my locked spots that was half open. There are 2 sections there. I got a really good signal on the ring, so I figured it was good. I get home and look at it, and I don't like the way it looks (to be silver). I see the initials SS stamped into it. My GF makes jewelry and insists that it is silver. "I don't like the patina." She says you can't always tell by that, and that SS means Sterling Silver. So I am pretty sure it's good, but we'll test it just to be certain. The stone could be jade. Appears to be plated over with gold plate.
