    Can we see the other side?

    @JCro57 @paddyman98

    Don't know about $1000, but this one's worth some attention. You were right to put it in something protective.

    Why do you think it's made of aluminum?

    @Maserati27 Please don't post fake threads claiming you have certain errors. I have been doing this for 34 years and have seen most of the major attributed errors out there.

    On the one hand, we've now shown that CoinTalk can accurately identify real errors.

    On the other hand, this thread and "member" is now reported as a troll.

    I must be naive! :banghead: And to think, I was ready to hit "like" on the OP's initial post before reading the rest of the thread.

    Error looked familiar.
    Taking anything to a pawnshop is an act of desperation or ignorance.
    Why wouldn't you go to a coin shop?
    And for all the people who are going to jump on my post and claim how great pawn shops are, don't bother.
    The whole business model is to take advantage of the poorest people,
    drug addicts etc. They are the bottom feeders of society.

    disgusting. Fraud. Fake. Liar. Calculated misleading garbage and caught red handed. find another hobby. Its bad enough there are fake coins and trash youtube videos degrading this hobby so fast the experts cant keep up. Now we have to deal with people looking for attention or something at the expense of the hobby. What good does posting something thats not yours do? What were you trying to accomplish? Theres much easier ways to gain attention then in a coin forum.

    Thanks.. I actually recognized this known Mint error. I have a huge file of Mint error photos that are not mine that I have seen over the years. Good for reference. If I ever show them I always put - Not My Coin in the thread ;)
